From the Principal

Welcome to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Academy web site!

Our academy is truly an inclusive, vibrant Catholic school environment that strives to ensure that our students receive a faith filled, value centered, rigorous academic program of learning. We are aware that teaching your child is a privilege, as well as a tremendous responsibility. We want your child to have a wonderful learning experience this year, and we need your help in the learning process. Please encourage your child by helping to ensure that he/she has completed homework, assignments, and help him/her to study every day for comprehension of the material.
I am certain that you have read many articles or heard about the Common Core State Standards and test results in the news. I would suggest taking a look at the parent link at for more information. This is an educational shift in teaching and learning and curriculum has been implemented to keep pace with these changes.
