Dear Parents & Prospective Parents, Blessings for a happy, healthy new year! St. Francis Xavier School will celebrate Catholic Schools' Week from January 29th through February 3rd. This year’s theme of “Faith, Academics, Service” focuses on the uniqueness of Catholic schools. One’s relationship with God, high academic expectations and giving of time in service to others are priorities in our school.
Catholic Schools' Week Schedule – This is regular school week with special activities as noted below: Sunday, January 29th - Opening Mass 12:15 p.m. St. Francis Xavier Church followed by open house at school until 2 p.m for current and prospective students and families. We encourage all our students to attend this mass with their parents and to wear their school uniforms. Monday, January 30th – Spelling Bee - Grades 5 through 8. 12:45 p.m. auditorium. Parents are welcome. Tuesday, January 31st– Open house 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Sports Day - Grades Pre-K through 4. Parents are welcome. Wednesday, February 1st – Teacher/Staff Appreciation Day. Thank a teacher or staff member when you see them! Thursday, February 2nd – Open house 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Multi-Cultural Day celebrations in class – teachers will advise. Friday, February 3rd – Student Appreciation Day – Carnival ($7 full participation fee) - Free Dress Down Day. Dorothy Taylor
